Horses:

The horse riding school "the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art" is located in the center of Jerez (right across Sandeman). Horses and riders are trained and they organise also shows.

In Spring there is the "Feria del Caballo", a large horse / cattle market. It lasts three days.

Just outside you will find Jerez "Yeguada de la Cartuja". This is a horse breeding, subsidized by the state where you can get acquainted with the Andalusian horses and their history. On Saturday there is a guided tour with a show. Book these tickets in advance. The show is in a covered arena and is visible from all places so you can best order the cheapest tickets. GPS is recommended to find the location.
